Qype: The Princess Louise in London

London - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs

Peer prediction: "You'll really enjoy it!"

That's right Qype, I did really enjoy it, although, you could have warned me about the popularity. This pub would probably be a lot better if it was slightly less busy. Not really an ideal venue on a balmy Friday evening, although the fantastic decor and bargain basement prices sweeten the bitter pill (geddit?) of having to stand outside. Well worth checking out at a quieter time, if indeed, there ever is one.

Qype: Icco in London

London - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Italian & Pizza

Fantastic and extremely popular pizza place where you can takeaway a Hawaiian for a fiver. Don't be put off by the monsterous queue, it actually moves very quickly, and you'll be feeling really sick since you'll most likely eat the delicious contents of the box far too quickly.

Qype: Camino in London

London - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Bars

Decent breakfast venue with free wifi and plenty of room if you need to chat quietly about top secret plans. Even if you don't, you can enjoy either bacon or spanish sausage with eggs for a reasonable price of 3.50 GBP. I've just realised that I made a huge mistake in putting the tea bag in the cup for the tea, rather than the mini teapot, hence I probably would have got twice as many brews in this morning as I did. Having said that, 6 cups of tea with breakfast is extreme even for me...

Qype: Le Relais Cezanne in Le Tholonet

Le Tholonet - Hotels & Holidays - Hotels - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants

A roadside restaurant in an absolutely fantastic spot of outstanding natural beauty, and indeed, a great place to capture what I've no doubt would be hoards of tourists on the trail on Cezanne and Picasso driving the few km's up the road to the Mont Sainte-Victoire. We came in mid October and it was still full for Sunday lunch! We both had very decent pizzas at around €10, with a fine bottle of local rosé. My only complaint would be the service when they're busy, but the food came so quickly that I left happy.

Qype: Priory Arms in London

London - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs

Wow, what a little gem! Tucked away around the back of Stockwell station, this is a real ale lover's paradise! And, as you all know, I am a real ale lover. There's around 5 on tap, with the stalwart of delicious summer lightening as a great foundation on which to try such gems as 'Deltic Diesel' - trainspotting and ale in one!

The food is also very good, and they do a poker night every Thursday. Good stuff.
