Qype: Olivio in Hamburg

Hamburg - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Italian & Pizza - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - Bistros

Can't believe I've never reviewed Olivio! A firm lunch favourite of mine (check today's pizza monza which is sat inside of me right now), this is perhaps the friendliest restaurant in Hamburg, nay, the world! A hilarious husband and wife team had us writing down our order on a piece of paper and delivering it to the kitchen today! If you go on a Friday lunchtime you often get free wine refills, not that I drink at lunch of course...

Brilliant.

Qype: Restaurant Julien in Paris

Paris - Eating & Drinking - Restaurants - French

I'm quite surprised to see Julien with only 3 stars! I had a fantastic meal here the other night. The decor has a huge wow-factor, it's very... well, French! Lovely frescos and giant mirrors adorn every wall, and I fell in the love with the standing lamps.

But onto the food! Both the fois gras and the Noix de St Jacques were divine, and the desserts were fantastic too. The white burgundy round it off nicely. Highly recommended.

take me to romania

As noted on the iMedia Linux forums, but without response, I noted that 6.0.4 is also trying to proxy everything you might wget via what looks like (mail.thinvest.ro) a Romanian mail server! Fortunately, it's not actually working, so you will spot the ruse.

Very very odd, and now, I don't really trust this image. Still, anything using grub with my alix 3d3 is refusing to boot past the "Booting the kernel" stage, so I'm a bit stuck. Off to try PXE now. What a sunday!

Qype: The Lamb in London

London - Eating & Drinking - Pubs & Bars - Pubs

Don't know how I've not reviewed The Lamb really, perhaps my thoughts were erased by the powers that be for over enthusiasm? Anyway, it's a very nice place frequented by the fellows of the mathematics department at UCL, so you'll never be short of a spot of vortex-chat over a pint of special. The food isn't bad either, I'm led to believe.
