Spacious, stylish, light and airy, and full of women's clothes from independent designers. The staff are really friendly and will pick stuff out for you, so you don't have to. There's nothing for blokes, so you'll just have to mooch around and check your iPhone while you wait.

I'm not just reviewing everywhere in Copenhagen with 5 stars, it's just that everywhere I seemed to go actually was that good. Fiat is a fantastic Italian which gets really, everything right for me. We'd actually rocked up for wine-tasting, which was cancelled due to lack of interest. Fortunately, not my interest, for I was still very much engaged, and we ordered a lot of fantastic stuff by the glass. The Amerone was one that was particularly worth writing home about, and hence, I am. My travelling companions insisted on ordering a second dinner, so I did get to try some of the delicious pizza and a crab-based pasta dish. This small cafe in the afternoon cum restaurant in the evening reminded my a whole lot of l'Utime Atom in Bruxelles, that being, somewhere cool to hang out as well as eat. Both places have the massive unexpected bonus of the food being absolutely superb (well, the first time you go anyway!)

This steak (pictured), was, quite literally, incredible. No ultra-lean cut, but marbled with quite a lot of delicious fat, and they didn't ask how I wanted it, but it was perfect.

There's a decent lineup of beer too, including Tuborg on draft which tastes a lot better then when I remember it being on sale in the UK.

Very laid back, and highly recommended.

Excellent, stylish "concept" brunch. The concept being, eat as much as you can whilst being as fashionable as possible. I managed to enjoy this despite my obvious disadvantage of hailing from the UK and only wearing the same jeans for a year.

So, the food. Sunday brunch is an all you can eat affair, but not, slop it all on a plate, rather, take delightful bite-sized portions of joy and, savour them. And then, of course, in the case of the DELICIOUS cheese, do it all over again. Their take on beans and sausages was very similar to my own quick cassoulet, which is perhaps something you wouldn't eat for breakfast, but apart from that, and the slightly "oh god am I in work" wall-quotations, I find it hard to fault.

I don't even want to keep it a secret that I want to live somewhere this cool!

Wow. The lobby bar at the Nimb is absolutely breathtaking. A genuine hidden gem that I actually don't really want to write about, since the tranquility was a major part of the charm. The space was redesigned around 4 years ago by one of the children of the original founder, and they have executed the vision beautifully. I took a few photographs so I won't have to describe the elegant open fire, lack of clutter, or indeed, excellent drinks. Well worth a look.

An interesting concept, pan-asian Austrian fine dining. But, it seems to work quite well. The menu has everything from schnitzel to sushi, but I had a delicious salmon in hollandaise with fresh asparagus, which I wish I could have eaten more of. Another bonus is their 6 month old silver labrador, which you can spend some quality time with.

I'd go back!

I think this pub probably can be a lot better than I thought it was, because when we were there, there were about 3 other people. Which would be OK in a small pub, but this one is huge!

It has a canoe on the ceiling, and a quiz machine, and the ale was a bit dodgy.

Stuck in the UK sleeping on a sofa for 6 days with no clothes and need emergency shorts in Clapham on a Saturday? THIS IS THE PLACE!

I got:

- great pair of camo shorts (own brand)
- sunnies
- those decent brazilian flip flops
- a tshirt that's so loud it looks like someone's been sick on it

Amazing. The staff are really helpful in saying everything looks good on you, so you can buy it very quickly and only find out later about the vomit.

Recommended.

Great gig venue just near the Hauptbahnhof in the centre of Hamburg. It's usually metal-focused, so reading the posters with the names of all the upcoming acts is amusing to say the least. If Skelton Warfare or diediedie are your cup of team (I just made those names up), then here's your place.

We were here to see the Black Rebel Motorcycle club, and even if you are really short, you can still see them, because it's all tiered standing down to the stage.

Great sound quality, good service at the bar, and it's a free sauna too!

Great little café just next to Porte de Namur metro which I used to frequent some years previously. It's since got free internet access too, but the quality of the soups, sandwiches and cakes hasn't changed - they're excellent. I'm having an unexpected volcano-related visit to Belgium right now, and if that happens to you, this isn't a bad place to work.

Posh posh posh poshy posh posh. But, none the less, pretty good. Decent Deuchars on tap, and a menu that, while pricey, was fairly impressive. Their copy is hilarious, but I couldn't argue with the bangers and mash. Brighters' crab dish, was very very crabby, and the fish and chips (coley) was huge.

The Essex girls trying it on with the local billionaires added to the ambiance. Class.

I used to walk past the beautiful Hollyhock cafe everyday on my way to work, on my 10 minute strolling commute! Sadly, I've not lived in Richmond for a while, but if you are visiting, it's well worth stopping here. Tea and cakes were the order of the day, and a perusal of the fantastic second-hand books for sale. I still have my copy of "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner" picked up for 50p!

The place is an treasure trove of wine, with vast choice from all over the world, and each of the French regions covered in detail. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, so you'll definitely come out with some gems. Highly recommended on any trip to Shrewsbury.

This is my favourite wine shop, nay, shop, in the world. Yes, it's true, I like this even more than M Moen & Son in Clapham. More, even, than some pubs.

What's been said in the other reviews is all true, of course. But what I love about this place is the incredibly relaxed atmosphere, the way they completely appreciate the post-work wind down, and lubricate it with generous glasses of wine every time you go.

Don't expect to purchase anything in under an hour, but why would you want to? Try it all - there's not a bad bottle in here.

I chanced upon the venerable Stettin, a lovely icebreaker dating from 1933 this weekend. Well, in truth, I'd seen her before on a many a visit to the beach, but had passed by the delights of Oevelgoenne museum. Anyway, if you've got 2€ handy, and you get there before 1800, she is well worth a look! The tour isn't guided, so you are free to clamber around most of the ship, including into the engine room! It houses a beautiful 5-cylinder steam engine, which develops around 2200hp at the cylinders. The pistons and con-rods are of an epic size, hence the rather amusing tooling which is also neatly stacked nearby for maintenance. You can actually fit your head into a few of the spanners.

Up on deck, she looks fairly unremarkable, until you get onto the bridge. Interestingly, it contains rather more modern equipment than downstairs, which betrays the fact she saw active service from 1933 all the way up to 2008, a period in which she also saw action during the capture of Copenhagen.

All in all, well worth the admission, and one of the highlights of my weekend!

I'm a massive fan of the Stadtpark, and now summer is just around the corner, I'm inspired to tell you why. For a decent program, I'd highly recommend renting a canoe and paddling your way through the canal network into the Stadtparksee, where you can promptly jump in (without paying!) and swim to shore. Then unload your picnic, beers and size 6 cricket set, and a happy afternoon will be had by all. It's advisable to use a windball instead of the real thing, lest you kill a baby and put a dampener on everything.

A world of fake metal palm trees in front of a spectacular industrial vista, but the air is surprisingly clean. Cool place to lie about in the sun on a nice day, and there's often live music in from of the Pudel club, right next to the park. It's rumoured that Radiohead based their classic "Fake Plastic Trees" on this actual park.
